A swing arm gives you the one thing a fixed sconce can't: reach. NovaSwing folds flat against the wall when you don't need it, then extends and pivots up or down whenever you do, casting a soft, diffused glow through its frosted glass shade rather than a hard point of light. The arm and body are cast in iron with an industrial edge, and since it plugs straight into a wall outlet, putting one up doesn't involve touching any wiring.
What makes it work
- Swing-arm reach, up-or-down aim — the arm extends out from the wall and pivots so the light lands exactly where you're reading or working.
- Frosted glass, soft glow — the shade diffuses the light into a gentle wash, with a touch on/off switch built right into the fixture.
