The Piscifun Sword is machined, not cast — carved from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum on a CNC mill, then hollowed out through the frame to strip away weight without giving up backbone. Hard anodizing seals the surface against scrapes and salt air, and every part goes through a cold-forging and tempering process before it's assembled, so the reel keeps its rigidity trip after trip on the water.
What makes it work

- Multi-disc carbon and stainless steel drag — a one-way clutch bearing engages the drag instantly, giving you an accurate click and a quiet, silent retrieve.
- Hard-anodized, cold-forged construction — the anodized surface resists abrasion and weather, while cold-forging and tempering add strength and rigidity.
Built for a quick pickup
The mid-arbor design cuts down on line memory and speeds up how fast you can take in slack, so you're back in contact with the fly sooner.
