Inspired by the Japanese Akari lantern tradition of 1951, the Shiori Glow table lamp uses handmade mulberry paper that softens light into a gentle, even glow. Like the fishermen's bamboo lanterns that first inspired the design, it transforms any space with a warm, tranquil presence.
The shade is produced through a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue.
Glue traces at the shade edge are a normal handcraft characteristic. Minor glue traces along the edge of the lampshade are a natural result of this handcraft process — not a quality issue.
